Jacksonville Jaguar Are Eager to Win At Home
The Jaguars are going to play the Denver Broncos at EverBank Field Sunday at 1 p.m. They would love to win at home. But it is not so easy. It is a difficult task for the Jaguars to win the Broncos. Why? There are many well-known reasons.
Defending the Super Bowl champions (the Broncos) are a difficult task. The Broncos rank fourth in the NFL in total defense and have the NFL’s best pass rush with 35 sacks. Linebacker Von Miller has a league-high 12.5 sacks and linebacker DeMarcus Ware is the long one of the NFL’s best pass rushers.
The Jaguars are 0-4 at EverBank this season and haven't won a regular-season game there since beating the Colts 51-16 last December. The Jaguars lost to Green Bay 27-23 at EverBank in the regular-season opener, then lost to Baltimore 19-17 after leading in the fourth quarter, also lost to Oakland Raiders 33-16 and the Houston Texans 24-21.
The Jaguars’ offense will need a similar, turnover-free game Sunday against the Broncos. They need to do something they haven't done in a very long while. But however, they will do what they do for a full 60 minutes plays.
